The Problems We're Solving
Financial hardship, climate instability, and lack of opportunity limit too many women in Southern Europe. SustainHer is here to acknowledge these struggles, to show a light of hope, and work towards creating concrete action to help them achieve economic independence, improve financial skills, to start thinking of carbon credit projects as an opportunity to reinvent themselves.

1.
Financial Vulnerability & Economic Exclusion
Financial abuse, limited access to financial education, and persistent traditional gender roles hinder the economic advancement of women in Southern Europe. For example, the World Bank reports that women earn, on average, 15% less than men in Italy and have limited access to financial resources (Source: World Bank, "Gender Data Portal," 2023). SustainHer is committed to providing resources and networks to overcome these barriers and support women in achieving economic autonomy.
2.
Climate Change & Environmental Degradation
The consequences of climate change in Southern Europe can not be ignored SustainHer acknowledges that the work must also come from the core, the local communities, to create the change that they need.

3.
Systemic Inequalities & Lack of Support
Local Governments usually lack any type of support to create a program that sustain vulnerable communities of women and children. SustainHer can offer help and expertise in these areas, also by connecting local government with bigger entities.
